Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on a subsystem and file server

Hi there!

I would like to make a file server running from an ubuntu subsystem, that can be reached from outside of the network (from internet) also, and hive different shares to different accounts coming in to look for the shared folders.

The problem is I have no idea what packages to install and how to configure them, especially regarding as to how to reach the subsystem.

I've tried to make a test, installed sambashare, configured only a name for a share with this:

[sambashare]

    comment = Samba on Ubuntu

    path = /home/username/sambashare

    read only = no

    browsable = yes

but even from the same computer, cannot access it.

Have a feeling it has something to do with the network interface part of smb.conf.
It is set to (as default, and I havent changed it):

# The specific set of interfaces / networks to bind to

# This can be either the interface name or an IP address/netmask;

# interface names are normally preferred

   interfaces = 127.0.0.1 eth0

# Only bind to the named interfaces and/or networks; you must use the

# 'interfaces' option above to use this.

# It is recommended that you enable this feature if your Samba machine is

# not protected by a firewall or is a firewall itself.  However, this

# option cannot handle dynamic or non-broadcast interfaces correctly.

   bind interfaces only = yes

Could you help me?

Thank you very much,

Aaron
