Huge number of AVHDX files - How to get rid of them?

Hi guys, 

I have a Failover Cluster based on Windows Server 2016 and S2D is used as a storage space. 

Just for one machine I found huge number of AVHDX files. (The list below is not full)

 In Hyper-V Manager and PowerShell I get this:

 

In other words I can't understand whether this virtual machine does have checkpoints or does not.  

Please advise how I can get rid of those AVHDX files and get the size of the virtual disk back 200GB.
