Does anyone know if Hyper-V discards VLAN's if they're not set in the virtual switch or virtual port?
We're moving from ESXi, which was running Untangle in bridge mode without issue. We use multiple VLANS and run Untangle virtually between our router and network. It seems that Hyper-V is discarding the VLAN's somewhere and just allowing the non VLAN traffic through. I can set a VLAN id on the virtual port and that VLAN's traffic will flow through, but of course only that VLAN's traffic.
All the physical equipment is the same, even the server running Hyper-V, so I know the issue has to be with Hyper-V.
I have MAC address spoofing enabled on the virtual ports.
