Hi, i hope my Title is good ans that this question haven't been ask by another users.  I'm sure it is, but i didn't find...

I hope it is not gonna be too long and that my English is good :)

I have a server with an hypervisor 2016 install on it, it is the core version, i mean i only have two window; a Administrator command prompt and Powershell, like this picture:

https://www.google.ca/search?q=hyper-v+core&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwikrPzq8MjrAhWEXs0KHRLyDt0Q2-cCegQIABAA&oq=hyper-v+core&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIECAAQHjIECAAQGDIECAAQGDoECAAQQzoCCAA6BAgAEBM6BggAEB4QEzoICAAQCBAeEBNQ0WpY73Jgsn9oAHAAeACAAV2IAcIDkgEBNZgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=gbpOX-TnMIS9tQaS5LvoDQ&bih=788&biw=1536&hl=fr#imgrc=3rbsuhtgWH5wEM

I have a vm guest on this hypervisor that is a primary domain controller(pdc) and everything work fine.

I have read on Microsoft best practice that an hypervisor are better to be registered on the domain.

My question is this:

When i boot the physical server, how can the hypervisor see the domain and connect to, if the guest vm domain controller is not even started yet?

hope u understand my question

The answer for me is that i have to got a domain controller separate of hypervisor, hum :(((

tx !!!
